Founded in 1959, Ford Otosan is the largest commercial vehicle production center in Ford Europe with a production capacity of 746,500 vehicles, 437,500 engines and 140,000 powertrains by 2023. Ford Otosan, which operates in 5 main centers with Gölcük and Yeniköy Plants in Kocaeli, Eskişehir Plant in Eskişehir, Sancaktepe R&D Center and Spare Parts Warehouse in Istanbul, Craiova Plant in Romania, employs more than 23,000 people.

Renault Technologie Roumanie (RTR) is the only automotive engineering center in Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean region and the largest Renault engineering center outside France, with approximately 2500 engineers. RTR mainly accommodates engineering functions (conception and testing), along with purchasing, design and support (management, human resources, IT). The main fields of activity are designing and improving vehicles and adapting engine.
